Timetable 2020 - what is new?

Annual timetable 2020, timetable change on December 15th

The new, 576-page annual timetable 2020 of the cycle traffic with all bus, rail and call-bus connections is available from Thursday, December 12th 2019, everywhere in the district Schwäbisch Hall free of charge: at banks and savings banks, the city halls, the service centers at the stations and in the buses, as well as at the KreisVerkehr customer centers.

The following changes will be made to the timetable change from 15.12.2019:

The train timetables of the Murrbahn have changes in the minutes range, both in the MetropolExpress (now RE19 / RB19) and in the trains of the RE90 Stuttgart - Nuremberg line. From Crailsheim to Stuttgart trains were optimized in the morning before 7 o'clock and brought in time. In the evening there is a new connection at 22:38 daily from Nuremberg to Crailsheim, as well as at 22:54 from Crailsheim to SHA-Hessental, with a drive to Stuttgart.

New operator for the line RE90 Stuttgart - Nuremberg will be from 15 December go-ahead. The company will also take over the travel center in Hessental at this time. In Crailsheim the takeover of the DB Travel Center took place in the current year. At the moment it is still not sure, if Go-Ahead can start with new trains as planned with the start of the RE90. These are probably delivered by Stadler shortly before the start of operation.

The timetables of the Hohenlohebahn (future RE80 / RB83) will change a lot this year. A special highlight is the fact that the trains go from the timetable change Mon-Fr throughout in 1h-clock from and to Heilbronn. In addition, all trains will stop in Wackershofen, u.a. good for park & ride. There is a new connection every day at 22:06 from Heilbronn to Crailsheim, as well as a late connection every day at 23:58 from Öhringen. Towards Heilbronn trains now run every day until 22:03 clock in 1h-clock.

Operator of the Hohenlohebahn, as well as the Tauberbahn, will continue to be the Westfrankenbahn. From the timetable change on both routes new vehicles will be used, the series 628 will be until the summer history. In the summer of 2020 there will be construction works on the route between SHA-Hessental and Öhringen, with a full closure and SEV traffic of 1.08. until 13.09.2020.

There are also travel time adjustments in the minutes range at the Tauberbahn. The additional school train in the morning from Blaufelden to Crailsheim does not apply, but the regular train with increased capacity runs. The feeder buses are tuned to the new travel times. In the morning, two train pairs also run, so that Mon-Fri is offered a continuous 1 hour cycle. New is from 20 clock a BusErgänzungsVerkehr (BEV), which complements the train service on the Tauberbahn daily until midnight in 1 hour intervals. In the area Crailsheim - Schrozberg this is shown in the line 88c.

In the Remsbahn timetable there are almost no changes compared to the start of operations by go-ahead for the RB13 line (Stuttgart - Aalen - Crailsheim) in our area. In the meantime the trains on this route are more reliable and the timetable can be kept.

The city bus Schwäbisch Hall changes its lines little this year. The line 2 does not drive (with few exceptions) over the Michelfelder Kerz. There are connections to and from the line 9 at the Hagebaumarkt. The reason for the change is the Tempo 30 zone in the Gerhard-Hauptmann-Straße, which leads to a longer journey time of the buses. At line 7 there is now a daily connection at 23:25 from the central bus station to Gottwollshausen and Gailenkirchen.

For all lines arriving at the new "Fassfabrik" stop in SHA-Hessental (district office, congress center), the arrival and departure times are now included in the timetables. In the Hessentaler Solpark, the former stop "Dolanallee" has been renamed "Hessental Sparkasse" (city bus line 2). The since then Hessental stop "Hessian Kreissparkasse" (Müller lines 12/17/18), is now new "Hessental Sulzdorfer Straße".

Also only a few changes at the city bus Crailsheim and clock traffic Satteldorf, as well as the SBC NightLiner. From Ingersheim Mon-Fri drives a new connection at 20:00 o'clock to ZOB Crailsheim, with connections to Heilbronn, to the BEV 88c to Schrozberg, as well as to the IC to Stuttgart and Karlsruhe.

Even minimal changes in the schedules of the company Hofmann, as well as the schedules of the companies Röhler and Müller. Here rides were partially adjusted already at the beginning of the school year in September. Journeys to and from Waldenburg train station are only possible on the line 32 due to realignment of the traffic in the Hohenlohekreis with change in Waldenburg. The NVH innovations also require changes to lines 25 and 29.

At the request of the city of Vellberg, the line 18 for better development of the residential area also drives via the stop "Vellberg Kreuzäcker". Due to the longer distance it comes to travel time adjustments. The bus stop Bucher Straße (in the direction of travel book) can be omitted in return. Transfers between lines 12/13 and 18 will be moved from "Vellberg Kreuzäcker" to "Vellberg Abzweigung Buch". Due to the new layout, there is a possibility of driving to Schwäbisch Hall on both sides of the stop "Abzweigung Buch". For better distinction get the stops "Vellberg diversion book" the addition "downhill", or "uphill".

On Saturdays, the first two runs on lines 12 and 17 start 7 minutes earlier. Thus, in Hessental the connection with line 1 to the station Hessental and there to the train to Stuttgart is reached.

Furthermore, there are improvements in the NVH lines 26 and 28 (local traffic Hohenlohekreis). Thus the line 28 runs in the evening between 16 and 19 o'clock in the future in the 1 / 2h-Takt on the axis of Schwäbisch Hall - Untermünkheim - copper cell to Künzelsau. New connections will start at 19:07 and 20:07 at the station Hessental. In the morning, arrival at 6:50 am and departure at 7:02 am at Hessental station will be offered on school days as well.

Another operator change took place in Mainhardt in August. The line 20A (since then Regiobus Stuttgart) is now driven by the omnibus Ruoff GmbH (OVR) in Waiblingen. This line: Sulzbach / Murr - Mainhardt (VVS line 380), now also runs to Mainhardt in the VVS fare, analogous to the line 21.
